Discover how to make your ambitions visible and take a strategic approach to shaping your career. The Female Leadership workshop offers insights, practical tools and inspiration to strengthen your leadership. Join us and take the next step in your career.
You’re good at what you do. You deliver results, take responsibility and make a valuable contribution to education, research or university operations. But how do you ensure your ambitions are recognised and take the next step in your career? And how do you navigate the visible and invisible factors that influence your career development?
Designed specifically for female VU employees at salary scale 11 and above, this programme helps you take ownership of your career and leadership journey. Combining research-based insights, practical exercises and opportunities to exchange experiences with other ambitious women, you’ll work on your personal development and turn your ambitions into concrete next steps.
Two interactive workshops
Together, we’ll explore questions such as:
- What do I want to achieve in the coming years?
- Which opportunities am I missing out on?
- How can I make my ambitions more visible?
- What role do networks and unwritten rules play?
- How can I take a more strategic approach to my career?
What you will gain
- A clearer understanding of your ambitions and opportunities
- Insight into the factors that can accelerate or hinder your career
- A concrete action plan for your next career step
- Greater visibility for your strengths and talents
- A valuable network of women at VU
The programme is led by Esther Mollema, an expert in leadership, inclusion and career development, with extensive experience in academia and at VU Amsterdam.
