Multidisciplinairy Lab Gender Equality in the Armed Forces 30 October 2026 12:00 - 17:00

the Centre Defence and Resilient Society (CDWS) will host a multidisciplinary lab on gender equality in the armed forces. 

For: VU-researchers 

Researchers will share insights and collaborate in small groups on themes such as gender bias, mental well-being and aftercare, equipment and clothing, and lifestyle factors like sleep and work schedules. The programme was co-developed with Dr. Laura Schaap (VU Amsterdam).  

The outcome of this lab will be communicated in the newsletter of November. 

We invite all VU researchers interested in gender equality or defence to participate.
