November session
Are you a PhD candidate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and is your defense date approaching? You are welcome to join our Meet the Beadle session!
The next Meet the Beadle is scheduled on November 4, starting at 16.00h in the Auditorium.
The beadles of the Vrije Universiteit will explain all about the PhD ceremony and take you to all sites: the Auditorium, the promovendus room and the Forum room. You can experience how it feels to be on the stage and check out the technical equipment. And of course: plenty of opportunity to ask your questions to the Beadle. An excellent way to prepare for your defense!

Please contact pedel@vu.nl if you want to join the session or have any questions. Please note that places are limited and that we accept registrations on a first-come-first-serve basis. The meetings are held in English.
Unable to attend?
If you are unable to attend the next meeting, then you can register for the subsequent date: in 2027 sessions are scheduled on 3 February, 21 April, 1 September en 3 November as well, always starting at 16.00h sharp in the Auditorium.
