On Thursday, 16 April 2026, research institute LEARN! hosts its Annual Conference on the theme Growing up in today’s society. We welcome everyone interested in education, learning and development, including researchers, education professionals and policymakers.
Keynote lectures by Prof. Eveline Crone and Prof. Susan Branje will explore this topic from complementary perspectives, from identity development to neurobiology, and how these processes unfold in a changing social context. The programme also includes flash talks, a poster session showcasing LEARN!’s interdisciplinary research, and symposia focused on the following themes:
- Performance pressure and resilience,
- Digitalization of life, work and education,
- Participation and inclusion of diverse learners,
- Persistent declines in achievement and motivation.
