The situation in Iran is changing every day. Social media and news channels are brimming with information about the protests and the ensuing violent crack-down. Since many of our community are affected, together with AnthroCine, we are organising a movie showing of an Iranian movie: It was Just an Accident (2025).
There will be pizza (for free), drinks, and good conversations. Prof. Halleh Ghorashi will engage with us in conversation about the movie after watching it together. Join us for a night of good company, interesting conversation and solidarity.

It was Just an Accident (2025) is an Iranian movie about a man who bumps into someone who he believes is his former torturer. It faces questions of revenge, resistance and redemption.
