Dr. Radhakrishnan R.K.’s PhD journey did not end when he graduated from the Athena Institute at @VUAmsterdam. He continued to engage with the Sri Lankan refugees he met during his studies. Having lived in India for over 30 years, these refugees consider it their home, yet many remain marginalized – on the outskirts of society. In his short documentary, award winning political journalist, Radhakrishnan, shares their stories of identity, belonging and home. It sketches the context of Sri Lankan Tamil Refugees in India, and what it means to live in a limbo, to build meaning amidst displacement, and to seek dignity in a world that often overlooks them.
