We will cover scraping web data, cleaning it for analysis, analysing text, and plotting publication ready results.
NOTE: This workshop is aimed at levels 2-3, beginner+ to intermediate level programmer, refer to our level system for more info. All are welcome to join, but those at level 1 might find some unfamiliar terms or techniques.
Requirements
Participants need to:
· Bring their own laptops.
· Have R and Rstudio installed.
· Have experience using the tidyverse packages.
· Have already required their Guardian developer token via this webpage.
All the necessary to follow this session will be available at this GitHub repository 24 hours before the workshop.
