Join the conversation about antisemitism and its relevancy today with philosophy lecturer Yonathan Busquila Listik.
Starting with a general introduction to the concept of antisemitism and the ways to understand it. We will talk about relevant contemporary authors, possible parallels and differences to other forms of prejudice, and why the concept matters today (for example, debates around the IHRA and the Jerusalem declaration).
Yonathan Busquila Listik will also engage with notions such as 'the socialism of the fools' and Judaeo-Christianity. Finalizing with an open conversation on the topic. The goal of the session is to create a common, but not definitive, vocabulary around the topic of antisemitism. Knowing that Yonathan Busquila Listik approach is to try to create more questions than give closed answers.
