Compliance 4.0: harnessing AI for ethical growth

Industry 4.0 - the current phase of automation and digitalisation generates new risks and possibilities for compliance.

In this symposium, organised by the CIM programme in collaboration with De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, PwC and the VCO, we will discuss how compliance can support the responsible design and use of AI for ethical organisational growth, and take advantage of AI in day-to-day integrity risk management.
This year, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Compliance and Integrity Management (CIM) programme, marking two decades of expertise and innovation.

Speakers & moderator

Raf Houben – Core lecturer of the CIM programme and Financial Regulatory Law Specialist at PGGM NV.

Juan P. Mendoza – Associate professor and core lecturer of the CIM programme. Conducts research on compliance.

Douwe Groenevelt – CEO & Founder of Viridea, former Head of Legal of ASML, and a passionate pioneer in the application of AI for the legal & compliance domain.

Willem Heeringa - Head of the department Technology and Strategy at De Nederlandsche Bank.
