On Tuesday February 11th the VU Career Skills Takes place. This event is open to all VU students. This is the event to prepare yourself for your further career.
During the VU Career Day, you can participate in various activities, such as:
- Workshop on impressing with a catchy resume (in Dutch)
- Workshop writing a motivational letter (in Dutch)
- Workshop LinkedIn (ENG)
- Workshop Networking (ENG)
- Workshop Strengths & weaknesses (ENG)
- Workshop How to find a job in the Netherlands? (ENG)
- Workshop Successful job searching with a disability (ENG).

There will also be activities organised for which you do not need to register. You can have your CV scanned in the main building at the white conference desk. In ten minutes you will receive feedback on your CV by one of our Career Officers. Do you also need a professional photo for your LinkedIn profile or CV? Then have a professional photo taken between 10.00 - 14.00 in the main building at the Yellow Elevators Group (near the bookstore).
The VU Career Day is made possible through the collaboration of the Career Services of all VU Faculties. During your studies, you can contact VU Career Services with all your questions about your future career. Faculties will help you with all kinds of questions and offer career advice, workshops and training in preparation for applying for jobs and the job market.
