We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming symposium "Why the World Needs Anthropologists", hosted by the Ethnographic Impact Lab of the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Featuring keynote lecture "Anthropology: A New Hope" by Applied Anthropology expert Dan Podjed. 

Hear from Anthropologists during the Alumni Panel Discussion, as they share insights, discuss career paths and provide valuable tips for students emphasizing the added value of Anthropology in the wider world:

Dr. Dan Podjed, is a Senior Research Fellow at the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Associate Professor at the University of Ljubljana’s Faculty of Arts, and a Field Expert at the Institute for Innovation and Development of the University of Ljubljana, the founder and Executive Advisor of the EASA Applied Anthropology Network and initiator of the international symposium Why the World Needs Anthropologists.
