In line with these themes, the seminar also supports the “Knowledge Exchange” working group of the Platform for International Education (PIE), offering opportunities to share insights and ideas on global challenges and the future of international cooperation.

- Opening remarks by VU Executive Board
- Keynote presentation: “What’s Next for International Cooperation?” by Prof Sara Kinsbergen, Associate Professor (Radboud University), followed by interactive group discussions
- Thematic sessions on Conflict Resolution, AI and Indigenous Knowledge, Peace Building and Education, Food Systems and Climate Change.
- Panel discussion with distinguished guests including Prof. Anne Kisaka Nangulu (Kenya’s Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal), Prof. Marjolein Zweekhorst (VU Amsterdam), Prof. George Mark Onyango (Maseno University, Kenya), Mr Arno de Snoo (Board member of the Platform for International Education - PIE) and Prof. Sioux McKenna (Rhodes University, South Africa).
