eduXR Amsterdam: using eXtended Reality in higher education 6 February 2025 12:30 - 17:30

Are you interested in using eXtended Reality (XR), such as augmented reality and virtual reality in higher education? The Special Interest Group (SIG) eXtended Reality is organizing an inspirational afternoon for teachers, trainers, educational support staff and developers in HBO and WO.

During the program, we will look at the different learning objectives where XR can be of value and at various practical examples of implementation in education.

- ‘XR in cultural heritage and education: Case studies and insights from the 4D Research Lab’ by Chiara Piccoli & Hugo Huurdeman

- ‘Developing an XR environment for environmental sciences together with students’ by Andres Lot Camarena
- ‘Fostering innovation: Enhancing student participation in research projects at the UvA’ by Rob Belleman
