Bjørn Bartholdy on R packaging
Packages are the fundamental units of reproducible R code. They include reusable R functions, the documentation that describes how to use them, and sample data. A package may sound complex, but it is simply a standard way of structuring your project. This standardized structure applies to the files and (sub)folders of your project, but also to your code: in an R package. This makes packaging the building blocks of open software. In this Bytes and Bites we'll go over ways to turn your research analysis code into packages that others can easily download and use.
This guest lecture will be provided by Bjørn Bartholdy, Data Steward at TU Delft and general R wizard. The bites will be pizza and drinks will be present.

Due to this being the first Bytes & Bites in a new series we are not at our usual spot. Exactly where we'll meet on campus will follow! See you there!
