Co-edited by ACMRL member Betty de Hart in collaboration with Elena Zambelli, this edited volume, moving across different times, places and political formations – including the US slavery regime, European colonial empires and metropolises – delves deep into how the governments of white-supremacist and white-majority societies have consistently attempted to prevent, discourage or obstruct intimate relationships crossing the color line.
This book is made financially possible by funding from the European Research Council under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation pro-gramme under grant agreement No 725238 for the project ‘Regulating Mixed Intimacies in Europe (EUROMIX)’ coordinated by Betty de Hart.
