Join us for the next webinar of the Anthropocene Navigators community! This session will revolve around the themes of Companies, Education and Sustainability, with expert contributions from Renee Wansdonk (architect), Jorge Soulas (entrepreneur), Sjoerd Kluiving (VU Amsterdam), Mathieu Blondeel (VU Amsterdam).

During this webinar, we will explore the interesting theme of Companies, Education and Sustainability while Navigating the Anthropocene. Architect Renee Wansdonk, entrepreneur Jorge Soulas, het Groene Brein and Sjoerd Kluiving, about Biomimicry, as well as a general community discussion about developing workshop programs on the road to the World Economic Forum in Davos, January 2026. 

Contributions:

  • Renee Wasdonk: Solar energy, low energy, zero emission building concept
  • Jorge Soula: To design a concept for systemic analysis of Internal Development Goals
  • Sjoerd Kluiving: The conocept of biomimicry introduced
  • Anthropocene Navigators: Pitches and discussions of community members on the road to Davos 2026

We would also like to draw your attention to the upcoming hybrid Anthropocene Navigators follow-up session ‘Make Corporate Business Sustainable – on the road to Davos 2026’, taking place on Friday May 16 between 15:30-17:00 at the VU Library. The meeting will be a discussion between entrepreneurs and scientists about embarking on the road to the World Economic Forum in Davos, January 2026. Themes of discussions will be about, workshop programme, themes of presentations as well as teaching and/or dissemination activities. Please feel welcome to join, even if you are listening (hybrid form). More information and registration here.
