To further explore the topic of our current exhibition Life of Plants, we invite you to join us on a ‘Walk in the Park’: a visit to the Botanic garden Zuidas with Karen Verduijn, member of the VU Ecopedagogy Reading Club.
This tour is in particular connected to the installation Forecast by artist Oscar Santillán; both tour and installation are attempts at including non-humans in considering the complex exploitations of our planet.
As the Botanic garden, located just around the corner from VU campus, houses a wide variety of exotic plants from all over the world, it is a highly suitable place to explore the concept of colonial botany.
