Research shows that mentoring programmes, if set up properly, contribute to the academic success of students. But what are those conditions?
At the symposium ‘Impressions of mentoring’, Professor Jean Rhodes, Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring at the University of Massachusetts Boston, will be online and report on the results of 30 years of research.
Thérèse Onderdenwijngaard will look back on 25 years of student mentoring at the Faculty of Social Sciences, and VU colleagues Yvette Taminiau, Charlotte Meijer and Tom Kik, and student Sofia Zampedri will highlight various aspects of mentoring at VU.
You are welcome to attend this symposium. Registration is not required.
