Short Biography Anna Comacchio
Anna Comacchio is Professor of Organization and Management and Dean of the Venice School of Management at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (Italy). She received her Ph.D. in Management from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, and was visiting scholar at Warwick Business School. She has been the director of the international PHD program in Management of Ca’ Foscari University and the MPhil in Management Studies until 2020 and has served as vice-president of Edamba and board member of EURAM. Her areas of research are at the intersection of organization theory and innovation, focusing on the cognitive and sensemaking processes underlying novelty generation and entrepreneurial identity formation. Her research has been published in Organization Science, Long Range Planning, Technovation and Journal of Technology transfer, among others.
Short Biography Elisa Montori
Elisa Montori is a third-year PhD student in Management at the Venice School of Management. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Bologna and her Master’s degree from the University of Tübingen. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on new ventures, entrepreneurs' identity formation and construction processes, and individuals' motivation for pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors.
