Around the theme 'an accessible workplace' we are organizing a number of events from the team Studying with a Disability. On Monday there is a workshop for students in which they receive guidance in finding a suitable job. On Tuesday there is a Meet & Greet in which students can meet potential employees. And on Thursday we will host a Live Podcast: how do we create an accessible place to work and study at VU? This event is open to everyone but mainly intended to give employees who are dealing with this target group a chance to join the conversation and ask questions!
The podcast will be chaired by Miranda van Holland (3D and New Connective). In a small panel of students and staff there will be room to discuss their ideas and perspectives about VU as a place of work - and study. What does accessibility mean to them? And can you perhaps contribute something to that?
