Vidi is part of the NWO Talent Programme. Vidi is for researchers who have carried out several years of postdoctoral research after their PhD and allows them to develop their own innovative research line and appoint one or more researchers to this end. IXA-GO supports researchers applying to the VU through information sessions, review opportunities and, at a later stage, interview training.
The pre-application for the Vidi application consists of an evidence-based narrative CV containing the sections: 'academic profile', ' key output' and a 'brief research idea'. The information session will cover several things:
- The Vidi procedure: eligibility, the different steps in the Vidi procedure, choosing your NWO domain and getting the right reviewers.
- Which elements are important for your academic profile.
- What you can list as key outputs.
- Q&A with IXA-GO grant advisors.
The sessions will be held in English.
- Tuesday September 24th (LIVE session on Campus, (OW-10C05 - OW-Alma 1 & 2 (10th floor) 15:00-17:00)
*Note: This information session is intended for all researchers with an appointment at VU or researchers where VU is the prospective host institution. Register now (for free) via the registration button.
**NWO wants to contribute to the growth of the number of women in senior scientific positions. Therefore, NWO will start a pilot in the NWO Talent Programme in the fall of 2024 that is expected to lead to more allocations of Vidi grants to women, read more about this on this page.
