On October 10th, we explore VU Amsterdam’s campus as a place of work through an plein-air drawing workshop. The workshop is part of the public program of the exhibition Let's Work! in the VU ART SCIENCE gallery.
In 2023, Ton Kruse and Wapke Feenstra organized a plein-air drawing class on exploring the building of the old R.S.O.L. in Deventer (the former seat of Ton Kruse’s Faculty of In-Humanities). Now they are going to draw together with students and staff of VU Amsterdam. What kind of location would you prefer to be on the VU Amsterdam campus? And what qualities and aspects of that place make it a good place for you?
We will have drawing materials, paper and plein-air sets available. Start at 4 PM at VU ART SCIENCE gallery. Registration can be done via artsciencegallery@vu.nl with the subject “Plein-air Wapke October 10”. Language: English & Dutch & Frisian & other.
