Protest: what are your rights? Protests and demonstrations are currently a hot topic at the university, whether it concerns climate marches or occupations of university buildings. But what is protest? What are your rights and obligations if you protest?
To provide students with more clarity about protesting, we, 3D and NEWConnective together with Amnesty Students and Let Us Speak, are organizing a workshop on the right to protest. During this evening we will discuss what students can expect during protests and what their rights and obligations are.
Furthermore, Jaantje Kramer will come by to speak. Jaantje Kramer is a lawyer at Jebbink Soeteman and has helped several student demonstrators in legal processes.
