This 3D printing workshop is for students who want to start 3D printing. Teach you how to operate the 3D printer and how to make a perfect 3D print.
You will also learn more about the facilities in the Tech Lab of the University Library and Centre for Teaching and Learning. After following this workshop, you will be able to:
- Use Tinkercad to make easy models eg. keyring.
- Use Ultimaker Cura to slice model. Understand the general settings and the choices that influence your model.
- Use the 3D printer (Ultimaker S5) to print models
- Have knowledge on different materials suitable for 3D printing.
