This course familiarizes students with research on social behaviour from an evolutionary perspective. Examples of topics that are covered in the course: family relationships, friendships, choice of partner, jealousy. During the lectures these themes will be approached from an evolutionary viewpoint. To get a more in depth discussion and knowledge of the themes students will give a presentation, conduct research and write two research essays.
