Advanced Research Methods

This course is designed to prepare research master students to critically assess methods used in social psychology research, and to prepare students to design their own studies.

The course will cover fundamental issues in social psychology research,including ethics in collecting and reporting data, assumptions underlying the null hypothesis significance testing framework,statistical power, and methods in assessing reliability and validity of instruments and methods.
