The objective is to support incoming and future Indonesian PhD students, preparing them for their PhD trajectories at a Dutch university.
The 2021 online edition will run between 28 June – 9 July 2021. It comprises of four modules: Academic English Writing, Academic Competences, Soft Skills Training and Dutch Crash Course. With this intensive two-week programme, PhD students will be equipped with the necessary research, academic writing and soft skills to manage challenges commonly encountered in a PhD trajectory. Furthermore, the programme makes the transition to the Netherlands easier and faster thanks to the practical insights provided by Indonesian PhD alumni on ‘life in the Netherlands’, the Dutch culture and the Dutch academic system.
The programme is open to all first-year Indonesian PhD students who have been selected for a doctorate programme in the Netherlands and to prospective PhD students who intend to do a PhD in the Netherlands. The opening date for application is 15 March 2021. Applications close on 4 June 2021.
