Vinicius Marquet (Ciudad de México, 1982) is a designer, artist and researcher. He holds a BA in Visual Communication from UNAM (Mexico); an MA in Interaction and Game design by HKU (Netherlands ) & The Open University (UK) and a postgraduate degree in digital storytelling by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Ghent (Belgium).
Currently he is a PhD student in Arts at KU Leuven in the Luca School of the Arts (Belgium) where he researches the remediation of collaborative storytelling workshops into the network and programmable media.
In 2017 Centro de Cultura digital published his short story Bucle: archivo de ficciones, a hyperfiction based on Ulises Carrión’s life and artworks. In 2009 his project Anacron was included in the 3rd electronic literature collection by ELO. Under the context of Covid-19 he released imaginaviral.net (2020), a platform that explored online workshops, experience and art performance for the Spanish community audience.
