In 2005, the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences founded The Young Academy for young researchers who have obtained their PhD within the last ten years, who have already proved themselves as scientists and whose academic interests cover a wide field.

Barbora Holá is associate professor of International Criminal Law and co-director of the Center for International Criminal Justice. She investigates penalties for international crimes.
Hanneke Hulst 2017

Hanneke Hulst is a researcher at the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience of VUmc. She conducts research into cognitive disorders in people with multiple sclerosis.

 Jeroen Geurts is head of the Clinical Neuroscience research section of the VU University Medical Center. The research of his team focuses on neurodegenerative disease and cognitive decline.VUmc
