SANPAD workshop

The South Africa Netherlands Research Programme on Alternatives in Development (SANPAD Zuid-Afrika) is a well-known financial supporter of cooperation between Dutch and South African academics. Through a workshop that was organized by Anshu Padayachee, the chairwoman of SANPAD South Africa, the three Desmond Tutu professors were introduced to all of the project managers of ongoing SANPAD partnerships. The South African media were there in large numbers as well: five newspapers and nine radio stations reported on the workshop and interviewed the Desmond Tutu professors.
