VU Graduate Winter School

Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam offers a variety of intensive, trans-disciplinary short courses for Master students, PhD candidates and professionals. Join our winter programme and improve your research and communication skills. Expand your knowledge and learn to efficiently share it with others while earning study credits. All our small-scale courses are designed to give you an intensive and in-depth look into the subject. You will engage in cross-cultural discussions with a group of professionals from all over the world.

Courses

VU Graduate Winter School offers a variety of research-intensive and multidisciplinary courses from research analysis and academic skills to trending hot topics. The courses run from Monday 13 January until Friday 17 January 2020 with an arrival day on Saturday 11 January. It is unfortunatley not possible to combine courses due to the intensity of the classes. (closed for applications)

VU Graduate Winter School offers Early Bird, Partner Discount and VU Student and Staff Discount.

Accommodation

The International Office offers accommodation to VU Graduate Winter School participants. The number of rooms available is limited, but the International Office will do its utmost best to find suitable accommodation for everyone.

Arrival Day and Social Programme

To get to know your fellow students and the city of Amsterdam, we offer optional social activities that are highly recommended. During the arrival day, we offer Airport to Accommodation Shuttle Service from Schiphol Airport.
