Writefull is an AI driven extension for Microsoft Word and Overleaf, designed to assist students and researchers in crafting high-quality academic texts.
The VU Education Lab has established a university-wide trial license for Writefull, valid and available until December 2024.
Writefull offers a range of features including writing assistance through paraphrasing, copyediting, and more. Periodic evaluations will be conducted to assess the tool's acceptance and efficacy, particularly in comparison to other general-purpose writing tools like Microsoft Word's built-in features or alternatives such as Grammarly, ChatGPT and Google Bard.
