Senja Barthel is new Confidential Counsellor Academic Integrity Faculty of Science (BETA)
On 14 January 2023, Senja Barthel (BETA) was appointed by the Executive Board as Confidential Counsellor Academic Integrity for a term of two years. You can contact her, or one of the other Confidential Counsellors Academic Integrity, for advice or guidance on questions and dilemmas in the field of academic integrity, such as:
“My name was left off a publication I contributed to.”
“We can’t agree on the order of the cited authors.”
“One of my colleagues is using my work without citing me.”
“I have noticed that my colleague is producing sloppy work.”
Every researcher from PhD student to full-professor has access to the support on scientific integrity support of the VU Amsterdam.
