Keuzegids Masters 2023

A number of Master's programmes at VU Amsterdam are rated above average by students. You can read this in the Keuzegids (Choice Guide ed.) 2023, published on Thursday 9 March. The post-initial Master's programme in Epidemiology is even rated 'excellent' by students. Students annually rate their programmes on content, teachers, testing, career preparation and atmosphere. Below are the programmes rated above average.

The Culture, Organization and Management Master's at the Faculty of Social Sciences scores above average on content and guidance.

In terms of content, supervision, testing, career preparation and atmosphere, the Faculty of Medicine does very well with the Epidemiology Master's. Students also rate the content of the Master's in Oncology above average as well as the Master's in Medicine on career preparation.

The Master of Marketing at the School of Business and Economics scores above average on content, guidance, assessment and atmosphere. This programme is offered both full-time and part-time. From the same faculty, the Master's in Spatial, Transport and Environmental Economics also does well on content and assessment.

At the Faculty of Science, students rate the Biomedical Technology and Physics Master's programme above average on all themes, and the Neurosciences research Master's programme scores well on guidance and career preparation.

Each year, the Keuzegids Masters compares all accredited Master's programmes at Dutch universities. The assessments in the guide are compiled in part from student opinions and accreditation data using information from the National Student Survey and the National Alumni Survey. These assessments help enable prospective students to make an informed choice of about their Master's programme.
