Standing together against "Early Marriage" in the camp of Zaatari is one of the outreach activities within the Nuffic-funded INCLUDE-project in Jordan between Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (CIS-VU) and the Jordan health aid Society (JHAS).
100 beneficiaries have been targeted through this awareness program and campaign over 5 sessions. Sessions included men and women of different age groups, including parents, community leaders and influencers, youth and adolescents. The participants will play an important role in spreading the key massages that were provided and introduced during the awareness sessions and there is need for more awareness to help in the change process. Information and materials have been shared with the participants. In combination with these services it is very important to find the economic support for the families to support the education of girls and boys rather than early marriage and find more scholarship programs.
