The NSE is a large-scale national survey in which nearly all students in higher education are invited each year to give their opinion about their study programme. Students at the Faculty of Social Sciences are particularly satisfied with the academic skills the programmes offer. Students with support needs are also satisfied with the opportunities they receive to study well.
Master Social and Cultural Anthropology rated best
Students are particularly satisfied with the master's programme Social and Cultural Anthropology. They rate this programme a 4.50 (out of 5.0). This programme is closely followed by the master's programmes in Culture, Organisation and Management (4.45) and Beleid, Communicatie en Organisatie (Policy, Organisation and Communication) (4.27). Of the bachelor's programmes, Sociology scored the highest (3.97).
In addition to a general assessment, each programme received an assessment per theme. The themes are Content and structure of the education, alignment with professional practice, lecturers in the programme, study guidance, testing and assessment and involvement and contact. The master's programme Social and Cultural Anthropology and the master's programme Culture, Organization and Management score the highest on four out of these six themes compared to related programmes at other universities. We are proud of the positive appreciation of our students! The NSE results show that the innovations in the programmes have led to greater study enjoyment.
