At the end of this academic year, our second group of executive education students graduated from the Digital Innovation and Transformation (DIT) programme of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Over the course of nine months, the participants immersed themselves in a broad range of digital innovation topics, such as: what are the strategic implications of digital transformation?, how do you manage innovation processes?, what happens when you implement new technologies in existing complex systems and structures?, and what influence does digital innovation have on the way we work?
DIT final Project
On the final day of the programme, they presented their very own DIT Project, in which they used all the knowledge gained over the course of the programme on a case from their own organization. The projects ranged from the implementation of new technologies (so that people actually use them), to strategic decisions when becoming a platform organization, to the changing job of professionals when implementing AI in an organization.
We seriously enjoyed the interaction we had with these students over the past year. And of course we couldn't be more proud when they told us this programme really helped them to get a broader perspective on digital innovation, and enabled them to put the lessons learned into practice and make better decisions.
Make better decisions in digital challenges
