Photo exhibition to break the taboo on loneliness

25 November 2021
A photo exhibition on the VU campus portrays loneliness among local residents in Amsterdam New-West, in order to break the taboo on this topic.

The Knowledge Alliance Loneliness, consisting of social organisations, residents, volunteers, professionals, teachers and students, organised a photo contest to portray loneliness among local residents in Amsterdam New-West, in order to break the taboo on this topic. The winning photos are currently on display on the VU campus.

VU Master students  are currently conducting a Community Service Learning project in which they study the impact of the exhibition on the taboo of loneliness through conversations with people passing by.
