Order a free self-test online until August 31st

12 July 2021
Delivered at home free of charge.

Students and educational staff can order a self-test online until 31 August. You can order the free self-tests on the national portal zelftestonderwijs.nl, they will be delivered at home free of charge.

Even if you are vaccinated, you can still get infected with the coronavirus and infect others. Testing therefore remains important to prevent further spread of the virus. If you have a positive result from a self-test or if you have COVID-19 related symptoms get tested at the municipal health service (GGD) and stay home.

Self-testing is not mandatory and it is your own responsibility to use the test at home. It is also not mandatory to show a negative test result to gain entrance to the VU-campus. SURFspot, the organization for ICT in education, manages the digital portal where students and employees can order the self-tests for free.  Students and staff can use their existing institution account for this.

With the use of self-tests, the government aims to detect infections more quickly in order to prevent as many corona outbreaks as possible. For more information about the use of self-tests in education, visit www.zelftestonderwijs.nl
