The blood of cows and pigs is contaminated with very small pieces of plastic.
Dr. Heather Leslie has conducted research on microplastics in blood cows and pigs. The miniscule particles found in the blood has not been demonstrated before 'says Dr. H. Leslie. It is, however, the first signal that farm animals are not spared. Read the full AD article "in Dutch" here.
