Great discoveries come from interdisciplinary thinking where team members have different cultural approaches to problem solving. But international diversity is just as important as diversity of discipline. This is why we are starting a new series of conversations to celebrate our international research.
In these conversations, we will talk about what it means to work in another country, how research cultures vary across countries and what this means for how we think about our own role as researchers. What are some of the lessons learned, but maybe also some of the disappointments and struggles we have encountered? These conversations will provide an opportunity for informal sharing and exchange, but they will also help us understand the immense international networks and ideas we have within the institute and how we can all benefit from these. So please join us for these interactive conversations and hear some great stories!
