“AI at Work” at EGOS 2021 in Amsterdam.
Join our sub-theme “AI at Work” as part of the EGOS conference. The sub-theme is aimed at providing a deeper understanding of how AI is developed and implemented in organizations, as well as how and why AI systems impact knowledge work. Such understanding is urgently needed to empirically interrogate the overly optimistic as well as overly pessimistic scenarios expressed by commentators on the sidelines of the actual development, implementation and use of AI at work.
The sub-theme has attracted many amazing papers on a range of different topics related to AI, including AI implementation, AI and strategic management, AI and innovation, development of AI, AI in practice, AI and people management, making sense of algorithms, algorithmic management, AI use and work augmentation, and AI and professional work. Papers will be presented by corresponding authors coming from a range of different fields.
We also have the pleasure to announce two amazing keynote speakers: Meredith Whitaker and Frank Pasquale.
Meredith Whittaker will engage in a conversation about AI and fairness on July 8th, 4-5pm CEST
Frank Pasquale will present his keynote on the impact of Robots on expertise on July 9th, 5.30 – 6.45 pm CEST
EGOS participants are cordially invited to join these fascinating keynotes!
