7 June: Déjà VU Summer Festival

We're rounding off the academic year in style, with the first edition of the Déjà VU Summer Festival! On Friday, 7 June, VU Campus Square will be transformed into a festival grounds. Between 3 and 11 p.m., there will be music, theatre, food trucks and a hippie market. The Main Stage will host performances by Amsterdam's finest student DJs, and there will be a special musical appearance by a mystery guest!

What you need to know in advance

  • Déjà VU Summer Festival is only open to students and staff members of VU Amsterdam.
  • Access to the festival is free: all you need is your VU Amsterdam student card or employee ID. 
  • The site can hold up to 1,000 visitors. Once maximum capacity has been reached, the one-out-one-in rule applies.
  • No alcohol sold to visitors under 18, so don’t forget to bring your ID!
