Leprosy is a curable disease, yet many people continue to experience disability, stigma, social exclusion, and poverty long after treatment. While medical care is essential, it does not addres s many of the social and practical challenges that affect everyday li fe.

I investigated how bringing together individuals affected b y leprosy with healthcare professionals, policymakers, non-government al organisations and other stakeholders can help develop more effecti ve and person-centered solutions.
