Would you like t o play an active role in developing the working practices you are par t of? And help create a structured learning process from one project to another? Do you find it challenging to balance between supporting yourself and supporting the collective? Reflecting on these questions , together with others who are involved, can help both yourself and t he collective. Art and philosophy can add further depth to this proce ss.

At the Athena Institute, reflective practices are an import ant part of both our research and educational activities. Together wi th professionals, students, and societal partners, we have developed a refined approach that help us reflect on our work, learn from exper ience, and collaboratively explore complex issues.

We now offer this approach through the new programme De Reflexieve Professional, which starts in January 2027. In this professional development programme, you will become familiar with a reflexive-dialogical process theory a nd methods for shaping the interaction between reflection and action. The programme combines practical experience with philosophical langu age and artistic exploration. In doing so, you will develop an attitu de that enables you to navigate the dynamic of your work more effecti vely, practice innovative methods, and create a personal knowledge pr oduct that connects new insights to concrete action.
