On Monday March 9, IXA-GO is organizing, in collaboration w ith RVO, a general information session on the prestigious and competi tive ERC grant.

The ERC grant is a grant funded by the European R esearch Council (ERC) of the European Commission. They offer three pe rsonal grant types:

Starting Grant: for early career stage scientists with 0-10 years of experience since co mpletion of PhD;
Consolidator Grant: for s cientists who want to establish a research team and have 5-15 years o f experience since completion of PhD;
Advanced Gran t: for exceptional leaders in terms of originality and signi ficance of their research contributions.

This infor mation session specifically targets the researchers eligible for Starting and Consolidator grant. However, researchers el igble for the Advanced grant (and new to ERC) are of course also welc ome to join.

For this session we invite our national cont act point RVO (The Dutch Enterprise Agency) to inform us about the cr iteria and procedure in general and update us about the recent change s. After following this session you will know if your CV, career stag e and project idea are a good match for one of the ERC personal grant s.

This session is the kick-off of our internal ERC StG Trainin g Programme. Please contact us and the head of your department if you would like to know more about joining this Training Programme and/or if you are planning to submit an ERC grant.
