IXA-GO, VU Grants Offic e organises in collaboration with Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederl and (RVO) a series of meetings focused on the collaborative grants of Horizon Europe. Topics: culture, creativity, and inclusive society & New European Bauhaus (NEB)

This session will be of interest t o researchers who are already working on an application, or are consi dering to apply, either as coordinator or as partner, with a European consortium. Focus of this session: consortium grants and thematic EU funding programmes and RVO will provide insights in particular into the calls in pillar 2 of Horizon Europe.

Horizon Europe – Cluste r 2: Culture, Creativity & Inclusive Society

Cluster 2 aims to strengthen European democratic v alues, fundamental rights, and social inclusion. It supports research on democracy, governance, cultural heritage, and socio‑economic tr ansformations. The cluster funds humanities, social sciences, arts an d cultural innovation with strong societal relevance. It promotes res ilience against disinformation, inequality and social fragmentation. Overall, it seeks to foster inclusive growth and preserve Europe’s cultural and creative richness.

New European Bauhaus (NEB)

The New European Bauhaus is a cultural and innovation initiative linking sustainability, inclusion, and aesthetics to transform living spaces . It promotes community‑driven design, circularity, and climate‑f riendly built environments. NEB supports local projects, offers tools and funding, and encourages collaboration across art, science, techn ology, and citizens. It strengthens neighbourhood resilience, afforda ble housing, and creative solutions for the green transition. Overall , it aims to make sustainable living attractive, accessible, and beau tiful for all.
