 more intense and extreme, the role of drought limitation and hydrolog
 ical extremes may become more important. In this talk, we will dive i
 nto different ways to study and monitor the role of precipitation and
  drought in key tundra ecosystem processes, and explore the overarchi

DESCRIPTION: Precipitation and Drought in Tundra Ecosystems While trad
 itionally temperature has been studied as the key driving force and l
 imitation of terrestrial arctic ecosystems, precipitation and drought
  are increasingly emerging as important drivers of, for instance, tun
 dra plant growth and permafrost thaw. Now that Arctic precipitation d
