covers best practices for data organisation in spreadsheets, reproduc
ible data cleaning, and gives an introduction to data analysis and vi
sualisation using the programming language R.
Target a

This workshop is useful for all PhD candidates
and researchers with little to no prior computational experience who
are working with tabular data.
The tabular dataset used for pr
actice during the course comes from the social sciences field (that i
s, survey data in a tabular form).
Prerequisites
No prior knowledge on the tools used in this workshop is req
uired. This is a basic/introductory course.
Credits
Participants from VU can apply for Edubadges (equi
valent to 1 EC) upon completing the full course.
