Public speaking and argumentation; uni expects this of you, but this can be quite dauntin g. In this event we will focus on public argumentation. You might be able to fully prepare a presentation beforehand, but a discussion run s more organically. In a low-threshold manner we will look at and pri marily practice quickly explaining your vision, and presenting it in a convincing manner.

At university, an exchange of perspec tives takes place. That is a great asset, but it also means that  ;visions will clash. As a student, you are expected not only to present your vision persuasively, but above all to critical ly examine the views of others and be able to defend your own. < br> 
It is one thing to develop your arguments in the quiet s urroundings of your own desk, but it is quite another to test those p oints against your fellow students, as well as engage with theirs. St ill, this is an essential academic skill. 
 
In this event, we will therefore work together on debating in public. Step-by -step and with plenty of room for fun, we will practice together and build confidence. Because the perspective you have developed deserves to be defended effectively.
